Re: sample data, back in the day the RSNA ImageShare team created a bit of sample data (dicom file here) to go along with this patient -- but I expect SIIM has more up-to-date sample data, so I'd treat these as mere historical curiosity.
One thing that would be helpful is picking an existing patient in the SMART synthetic data set (browser at https://patient-browser.smarthealthit.org/index.html) to "tie into".
