Stream created by Robert Dieterle.
Josh Mandel (Mar 24 2021 at 03:47):
Is this stream about US? If so we should mention that in the steam name (e.g., #united States/national directory
) @Robert Dieterle
Josh Mandel (Mar 24 2021 at 03:47):
also out of curiosity how does this relate to #VHDir - Validated Healthcare Directory ?
Robert Dieterle (Mar 25 2021 at 16:16):
Hi Josh, Thanks for the input -- will change this to National Directory (US Realm) when I figure out how to rename the Stream.
Josh Mandel (Mar 25 2021 at 16:17):
I can rename it -- will group under the "#united states" so it's adjacent in the stream list.

Sure thing -- can you also clarify relationship with #VHDir - Validated Healthcare Directory ?
Robert Dieterle (Mar 25 2021 at 16:56):
The VHDir was an international standard for directory information exchange. The work on this stream is focused on the FAST Directory solution implementation guides. The FHIR IG proposal (in development) relevant to VHDIR will use the learning from the VHDIR and add 1) updates developed for PDex Plan Net to support US realm requirements (e.g. code systems and value sets), 2) specific extensions (e.g. to the endpoint resource to support additional metadata) to support the issues identified by FAST, and 3) any additional requirements identified by the work at HL7 under the PA workgroup.
