We are excited to test the PACIO Advance Directive Interoperability (ADI) IG at the Connectathon today. If you have already not reached out to the track leads about your plans to bring a server or client, please reach out to track lead @Corey Spears soon. Most of the connection points are open, and we also have another one that requires authentication in which we need to provision testers. Other track leads are @Maria D Moen @Tina Wilkins or @Matt Elrod . Excited to do some good testing!

ConMan contains 3 references to the ADI IG, we've requested the Administrator remove older versions. The correct PACIO ADI IG is labeled "PACIO Advance Directive Interoperability Implementation Guide".

Are there notes on the signature discussion?

view this post on Zulip Corey Spears (Sep 24 2021 at 01:11):

I don't happen to have any notes, though we did walk through a presentation. https://confluence.hl7.org/download/attachments/118981523/DigitalSignatureOptions_20210917%20%20-%20%20Read-Only.pptx?version=1&modificationDate=1632445263619&api=v2

We identified 3 options. 2 in the presentation (embedded Signature & Standalone signature document) and 1 that is being used by the VCI (enveloping). Currently it looks like the stand alone signature best meets our use case in the flexibility it provides, the level of assurance of the data contained within, and compatibility with HIEs.

Corey, that solution that best meets your use-case... is that the one I mentioned as being the Document Digital Signature implementation guide from IHE. For others benefit, here is an article I wrote on the topic https://healthcaresecprivacy.blogspot.com/2021/08/fhir-document-digital-signatures.html
