Topic: Test cases in Inferno
Mikael Rinnetmäki (Dec 26 2021 at 11:06):
@Rob Hausam @Isaac Vetter I just sent you an invite to work on the IPA test cases in Inferno. Tuesday 9 am Eastern US time.
I scheduled it in Teams, happy to use another meeting tool too if you prefer. Teams was the easiest for me to set up.

Hey Friends, I transcribed the inferno tests that I think make sense for an IPA Test Suite, here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nyZqZ6hMgTrkrXQKqD9frN0msnj0gOBijLEl5wq0SHE/edit?usp=sharing. Anyone can view, @Rob Hausam , @Mikael Rinnetmäki , you're Editors.
Isaac Vetter (Dec 29 2021 at 16:39):
I made a few non-obvious decisions:
- Don't test MustSupport; we've still got to figure out the desired and appropriate approach.
- What does support all resources mean?
- I didn't pull forward inferno's SMART refresh tests, b/c I don't understand why they have two test suites, with and without scopes.
- I didn't pull forward a warning for EHR Launch, although maybe should, per: https://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/fhir-ipa//security.html
Virginia Lorenzi (Jan 03 2022 at 07:30):
i couldnt view actually maybe I was doing something wrong?
Mikael Rinnetmäki (Jan 04 2022 at 13:17):
I confirm I see the doc is only shared for named people. @Virginia Lorenzi you are currently marked as an editor. I'm not sure whether Google Docs even has the possibility to share a document in the way @Isaac Vetter intended. Perhaps through https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nyZqZ6hMgTrkrXQKqD9frN0msnj0gOBijLEl5wq0SHE/edit?usp=sharing ?
Isaac Vetter (Jan 04 2022 at 18:42):
Hmmm, sorry Virginia, all. I think that I've got the google spreadsheet set to share publicly at read-only, at the link above (Mikael's and mine appear to be the same). If you can't access this and want to, either request access and I'll give it, or let me know and I figure out an alternate sharing strategy. Definitely want this to be as accessible as possible!
Mikael Rinnetmäki (Jan 10 2022 at 18:54):
@Rob Hausam can you please tell what's the current status of the Inferno test cases for IPA?
Rob Hausam (Jan 10 2022 at 19:05):
@Mikael Rinnetmäki The status is that they are coming - not as soon as I had hoped to have them, though. But I'm expecting to have the initial set available to work with in the track tomorrow. I'll plan to post a further update later today.
Mikael Rinnetmäki (Jan 10 2022 at 19:23):
Thanks for the update! Let us know if there's something anyone can do to help.
Michael van der Zel (Jan 11 2022 at 13:57):
I thought that some other Implementation Guide (e.g. MedMij) can also be tested for compliance with the IPA. That is what I try to do with the MedMij IG.
Michael van der Zel (Jan 11 2022 at 15:10):
@Grahame Grieve I think I remember you showed a page that was the result of comparing implementation guides. Can you help me find that page?
And can that tool test conformance of one IG to another (in this case IPA and MedMij)?
Thanks!
Grahame Grieve (Jan 27 2022 at 05:03):
you have to generate that one yourself - see https://confluence.hl7.org/display/FHIR/Using+the+FHIR+Validator#UsingtheFHIRValidator-ComparingProfiles

Rob Hausam (Feb 01 2022 at 13:52):
I'm working on getting the Inferno IPA tests going - shouldn't be too much longer for that.
Rob Hausam (Feb 02 2022 at 13:55):
I have a conflict for the IPA call today with a project meeting. Unfortunately, it seem that may now be a continuing conflict going forward, but I will see.
