Topic: Speaker name/info from 2019 Dev Days - Bias in AI
Nick Blake (Sep 03 2020 at 15:59):
Hey all. I attended Redmond DevDays in 2019 and one session I liked as a last-minute change with a gentleman from Microsoft discussing Bias in Training Data for machine learning. I can't find the session info in the agenda or recordings because it was a last minute change. I'm trying to find the speaker's info to connect on a AI Ethics work project. Does anyone have his contact info? TIA

@Gino Canessa any chance you caught it? I must have missed this presentation.
Gino Canessa (Sep 03 2020 at 18:36):
I missed it too, let me ask around and see if I can find someone.
Nick Blake (Sep 03 2020 at 20:10):
Thanks @Josh Mandel and @Gino Canessa It was in one of the smallest rooms in the back of the building.

Have you tried to find it here: https://www.devdays.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Devdays_program_Redmond_2019-1.pdf? @Nick Blake

Thanks Rien. I did look at that Agenda PDF handout as well as all the recorded session videos and documents/decks uploaded. I want to say that it was in the Sonora (or maybe Lassen) room. It was a smaller session and the topic changed at the last minute when the original/scheduled presenter couldn't make it to DevDays.

Hello, good day. Is there any discount for past attendees of DevDays? Thank you
Nienke Goudsmit (Nov 10 2020 at 15:51):
Hi Calvin, there is frequent DevDays discount. If you send an email to devdays@fire.ly and mention which DevDays you have attended a discount code will be sent to you.
