Topic: General Questions
David Johnson (Jun 04 2020 at 13:54):
Please feel free to ask general questions regarding dev days in this topic.
René Spronk (Jun 09 2020 at 13:47):
..please add me to the 'private' speakers channel. Thanks.
Priya Mathew (Jun 11 2020 at 22:14):
Hello! I'm not clear on how to access devdays sessions. I did download Whova from Google Play and tried to join the Devdays event but looks I need an invitation code to access it. I did hit "Request access", but haven't received any emails. Is there a way to access the sessions through a windows machine, I'd prefer to use my laptop to listen in.
Thanks and looking forward to next week! Priya
Mary Ann Boyle (Jun 11 2020 at 22:34):
Hello Priya. To access the app via your desktop, please follow this link: https://whova.com/portal/webapp/keyco_202001/
Mary Ann Boyle (Jun 11 2020 at 22:34):
you will need to use your email address that you registered with to access the sessions.
Laura Mitter (Jun 12 2020 at 14:51):
@Linda Jenkins Thank you Mary Ann! I was looking for the desktop link.
Priya Mathew (Jun 12 2020 at 15:38):
Thanks Mary Ann! That worked!
Casey Thompson (Jun 15 2020 at 18:17):
Will we have access to the sessions later since they are recorded?
Mary Ann Boyle (Jun 15 2020 at 18:18):
yes, if the speaker consented to sharing, everything will be posted online within 24 hours
Bruce Tietjen (Jun 23 2020 at 17:07):
I am wondering if the Tuesday 12:45 to 1:25 session titled "Deep Dive on ONC Final Rule’s Information Blocking Provisions" was recorded and if it will become available through the webapp?
Ward Weistra (Jun 24 2020 at 07:23):
I imagine it would. @Marita Mantle-Kloosterboer would you happen to know about this one?
Marita Mantle-Kloosterboer (Jun 24 2020 at 11:24):
Will check on the recordings - the PDF of the slides will be uploaded this afternoon.
Jan Maluche (Nov 17 2020 at 10:01):
Hello, another questions to the recording. Based on the chat not every session will be recorded and published afterwards in the app. Is there a list of every sessing which will be/ will not be recorded to plan the shedule?
Marita Mantle-Kloosterboer (Nov 17 2020 at 10:04):
The Let's Build, meet&greet and FHIR Side Chats will not be recorded. Rest will be. (all tutorials and community track).
Marco Wedekind (Nov 18 2020 at 16:06):
A "technical question": When watching presentations in Chrome via the Whova web-app, I cannot see the list of questions updated unless I do refresh the page. That is kind of annoying. How can I work around that or can you fix it?
Håkan MacLean (Nov 18 2020 at 19:53):
I was trying to watch this old video, but there seems to be something wrong with the video: https://www.devdays.com/videos/implementing-careplan-templates/#prettyPhoto

That is unfortunately the case with the Whova at this stage. It sometimes helps if you toggle between the chat and Q&A, but indeed, it does not refresh automatically. It has been raised to Whova.

Something is surely wrong there indeed! @Ardon Toonstra Could you have a look at that?
Ardon Toonstra (Nov 19 2020 at 09:21):
Thnx for the heads-up. The link should be working again! @Håkan MacLean
Håkan MacLean (Nov 19 2020 at 14:53):
Is it ok to share the recorded talks with colleagues? E.g. https://us02web.zoom.us/rec/play/-5xbD-KDk2dCfl1MrhHaqOtyAnz3O2xy82RffTxPPrSuUFEumMzx4yJW-B9KSvBIQGGHUscIaBuSrD5f.4DJ5c7zQN426NHcj?continueMode=true&_x_zm_rtaid=0ZtFMbMJSyW2Y_-b4PPHPQ.1605791943589.2be2796fc02593005fb4fc2c03b727c9&_x_zm_rhtaid=199
Ward Weistra (Nov 19 2020 at 14:54):
@Håkan MacLean The intention is that the talks and slides are 6 months exclusively accessible to the attendees of the conference. After that they will be made public.

Hello, I just realized that the Lets Build sessions are not recorded. I think I have missed all of these and this is something I was looking forward to towards the end via recorded sessions. Can someone please advise/ share about what was discussed in each of the LetsBuild FHIR app, especially the Java track (for all days)

@Mirjam Baltus Can you inform Calvin?
Diederik Muylwyk (Nov 20 2020 at 17:19):
Hi. I'm almost certain this has been asked elsewhere but I can't seem to find an answer. I'd like to review all of the sessions I wasn't able to attend live. How long will slides and recordings remain accessible via Whova? Or should I be getting them somewhere else...?
Thanks again for a wonderful conference!
Marita Mantle-Kloosterboer (Nov 20 2020 at 19:44):
You can access them via Whova untill we have bkth recordings and slides added to our website. Registered delegates have exclusively access for 6 months. After 6 months, it is publicly available.
Diederik Muylwyk (Nov 20 2020 at 21:04):
Thanks, @Marita Mantle-Kloosterboer !

For Java, a Github repo was created with the exercises and example solution here: https://github.com/hapifhir/lets-build. @Patrick Werner @James Agnew Is there more you can point @Calvin to?
Patrick Werner (Nov 23 2020 at 14:33):
sure. Here are the slides: https://bit.ly/3f8zZdT
