ok I committed an update to the Messaging Engine. Changes of note:
- I created constants for the different message types
- I re-orged the layout of PmsAppointment

With regard to the templates.... I have gone with simple string replace (listened to Brian), but I've used the liquid format so we can upgrade to a liquid engine internally with no impact on the templates
