Topic: BE Core clarifications
René Spronk (Sep 03 2020 at 12:05):
A few things that aren't clear to me when reading BE Core (some of which also because I don't work in a Belgian healthcare context): naming systems defined by Be Core include CBE, SSIN and NIHDI. What do these abbreviations stand for?
And: if these ids are managed/assigned by some organisation: is there a centralized registry with a (FHIR based) API that can be queried by Belgian healthcare organisations, does everybody receive an e-ail with a spreadsheet - how are these id synchronized between healthcare organisations ?
René Spronk (Sep 03 2020 at 12:17):
(the acronyms are mentioned in the definition of the naming system, but their meaning is not, and neither is a description of what it is they identify)

@Robin Bosman some ideas to add to backlog?

@René Spronk
National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (INAMI-RIZIV)
Jose Costa Teixeira (Sep 03 2020 at 13:10):
SSIN: Rijksregisternummer
Jose Costa Teixeira (Sep 03 2020 at 13:10):
CBE I don't remember / don't know
René Spronk (Sep 03 2020 at 13:42):
SSIN = Social Security Identification Number, CBE = Crossroads Bank for Enterprises
René Spronk (Sep 03 2020 at 13:43):
Practitioner and Organizations may be identified by most of these naming schemes - when would one use what identifier, and could they be mapped 1-to-1 ?
