Topic: containing non-sushi-defined resources
Jose Costa Teixeira (May 10 2021 at 21:50):
Can I contain a resource that is defined in a FHIR json into a FSH questionnaire ?
Jose Costa Teixeira (May 11 2021 at 17:12):
does anyone know? @Chris Moesel
David Pyke (May 11 2021 at 17:25):
I know Chris Moesel, he's a great guy.
Jose Costa Teixeira (May 11 2021 at 18:13):
perhaps I used my support credit..
Jose Costa Teixeira (May 11 2021 at 18:14):
better phrased as "that was never 5 minutes just now"
Jean Duteau (May 11 2021 at 18:24):
I told you, I'm not allowed to argue unless you've paid!
Lloyd McKenzie (May 11 2021 at 21:16):
I get a discount - Jean is happy to argue with me for free...
Chris Moesel (May 11 2021 at 21:25):
Sorry @Jose Costa Teixeira -- It's been a busy day... As it is right now, SUSHI does not support that. There are a couple of reasons for this (related to how SUSHI finds definitions you refer to and at what point in the process SUSHI inserts the contained resource) -- but... it does seem like something that we should look into further. But for now, no...
You could use GoFSH to convert the JSON resource into a FSH Instance and then contain it, but I have a feeling that's probably not the workflow you're looking for.

oh yes it is!
Jose Costa Teixeira (May 11 2021 at 21:25):
:)
Chris Moesel (May 11 2021 at 21:29):
Oh. Ha! Great. Then... use GoFSH. If it's an instance of a resource, then it might be easiest to use the fancy new GoFSH integration in FSH Online. But if the instance has dependencies on a bunch of profiles then using the GoFSH CLI might be easier.
Jose Costa Teixeira (May 11 2021 at 21:45):
(even if I use the cli, your answer left me with only one good option for endind the argument.
I don't know if you did that on purpose. If you did, chapeau! )
