Topic: Generate XML profiles from SUSHI ?
Janaka Peiris (Mar 14 2022 at 09:29):
By default, all artifacts generated are in JSON format (found in fsh-generated folder). Can I generate XML files ? The reason is XML files are what Forge supports, and there are some who want to use Forge to see the profiles.
Janaka Peiris (Mar 14 2022 at 11:29):
No need, I just found that Forge supports reading JSON. Sorry
Chris Moesel (Mar 14 2022 at 13:29):
Cool. The other approach is to run IG Publisher after SUSHI -- which will create XML files. It will also run the snapshot generator so the profiles are more "complete".
Janaka Peiris (Mar 15 2022 at 11:44):
Thanks, @Chris Moesel . I see these are XML are generated in the output
folder:
CapabilityStatement, StructureDefinitions (profiles) and ValueSets:
- definitions.xml.zip
- examples.xml.zip
btw, both StructureDefinitions in 1. and 2. are identical (+ no of files). Is there something wrong in my case ?
Chris Moesel (Mar 15 2022 at 12:41):
I think you can find the XML profiles in a few spots: directly in output, in output/package.tgz, and in output/definitions.xml.zip. To be honest, I've never looked in examples.xml.zip, so I don't know what it should have. Others in this stream might know though.
