David Hay (May 13 2020 at 20:40):
Is there still a zoom catch up in 20 mins?
David Hay (May 13 2020 at 20:41):
I note it has a line through on the confluence page...
Ward Weistra (May 13 2020 at 20:43):
Indeed: https://confluence.hl7.org/display/FHIR/2020-05+FHIR+Shorthand+Track.
Our zoom room isn't open until tomorrow morning!
I guess we won't tonight.
Jean Duteau (May 13 2020 at 20:45):
okay, I was getting ready to rejoin. Is the first thing our 10amET tomorrow?
David Hay (May 13 2020 at 20:48):
Oh bother. That's 2am my time. I'm dedicated, but...
Chris Moesel (May 13 2020 at 20:50):
10am is a basic tutorial. I expect the kickoff will be first thing (9am EDT). 1am is so much more reasonable, right @David Hay? @Mark Kramer -- do I have that right?
David Hay (May 13 2020 at 20:50):
Just to put my 2c in - my interest is playing with the SUSHI / IG builder integration work that is being worked on. I tend to develop on sushi - get that all working - then invoke IG builder and work on the more detailed issues that it finds...
Chris Moesel (May 13 2020 at 20:51):
@David Hay -- I think we'll be publishing a beta in the next couple of hours that you can start playing with.
David Hay (May 13 2020 at 20:51):
What are you intending to cover off on the intro?
David Hay (May 13 2020 at 20:51):
@Chris Moesel - perfect!
Mark Kramer (May 13 2020 at 20:57):
We start at 9:00 am. Looking over the participants, I don't think too many of us are going to be in the FHIR intro tutorial.
Chris Moesel (May 13 2020 at 20:58):
I assumed @David Hay was asking about the basic tutorial (for FSH).
Mark Kramer (May 13 2020 at 20:58):
@David Hay you won't miss anything you don't already know. I suspect you could teach the intro :) The advanced and the IG publisher integration will be much more relevant.
David Hay (May 13 2020 at 21:15):
Yes - hoping to attend those 2 tomorrow morning (5am - much more civilized - I'm a morning person!)
Mark Kramer (May 14 2020 at 14:02):
Kicking off the tutorial now

Are you also recording it?
Michael Faughn (May 14 2020 at 15:32):
Is the intro slide set available?
Rob Reynolds (May 14 2020 at 16:25):
+1
David Hay (May 14 2020 at 16:55):
next tutorial coming up in a minute? (or so...)
Nick Freiter (May 14 2020 at 17:02):
Yes, advanced tutorial starting now!
Nick Freiter (May 14 2020 at 19:47):
Note that the slides have been uploaded for the basic and advanced tutorials on FSH: https://confluence.hl7.org/display/FHIR/2020-05+FHIR+Shorthand+Track
Mark Kramer (May 15 2020 at 14:16):
Kurt Allen is going to present his FSH tools for advanced modularity at 11:00 AM Eastern time today (45 minutes from now). Please come if you are interested in some cool tools.
John Moehrke (May 15 2020 at 14:34):
I wish I could be there. I hope it gets recorded? Or another time is available?
Chris Moesel (May 15 2020 at 15:09):
BTW -- The integration/configuration tutorial is also posted on Confluence now. See Nick's link above.
David Hay (May 15 2020 at 17:29):
Did this get recorded?
Ward Weistra (May 15 2020 at 22:08):
@Mark Kramer and the MITRE team: Thanks for hosting this track and the work in general!
