If anyone here is planning to attend the Connectathon later this week, can you please sign up here on the Confluence site? Thanks! https://confluence.hl7.org/display/FHIR/2020-05+FHIR+Shorthand+Track

Mark, I'll be attending. This is my first FHIR Connectathon and I want to learn and observe. I don't know if you were asking us to edit the confluence page; I don't think I have access to do that.
I'll attend the intro/training sessions on Friday (I'm booked Thur morning unfortunately). If there's an opportunity that I could help contribute, I'll do so. We still use DSTU2, and so I'd like to create IG using DSTU2 and Sushi. We have implementations of about 15 services and ultimately I'd like to document them all in Fish and Sushi.

@Tim Dunnington - Just so you know, SUSHI only works with R4 at the moment... I'd still encourage you to attend, but want to be sure you're aware of that!

Well that confirms that. I wasn't quite sure if I was doing something wrong or if it just wasn't supported. I had gone to the lengths of cloning the repo to prepare to dig in and see if I could add support for DSTU2, but I don't know what I don't know, so...yeah...could be dragons there :)
David Hay (May 11 2020 at 19:00):
Well - the sushi team may well welcome any contributions that help support other versions...
John Moehrke (May 11 2020 at 19:03):
to be specific.. shorthand is not restricted to R4... but the tool we have today to convert shorthand into structureDefinitions is only implemented today for R4.
David Hay (May 11 2020 at 19:08):
indeed...
Chris Moesel (May 11 2020 at 21:25):
With the FSH spec being so young and going through its first ballot, we decided to focus on a single version of FHIR (R4) until things stabilize a bit more (and until we have a fairly complete implementation of FSH). If others want to help, we certainly would support that -- but we should probably talk about the overall approach before anyone invests too much time in it.
David Hay (May 12 2020 at 18:00):
BTW - will there be a sushi release before the start of connectathon?
John Moehrke (May 12 2020 at 18:06):
we only get one release of sushi??? That is an almost three day event. We should expect to get at least 36 releases... right?
David Hay (May 12 2020 at 18:17):
I wasn't going to scare them initially...
David Pyke (May 12 2020 at 18:38):
FHIR connectathon participants are made of sterner stuff! I remember when the IGPublisher release was a half-hourly event and nobody batted an eye!
Chris Moesel (May 12 2020 at 21:04):
Ha. We're planning a beta release with the new Configuration file support right before the Connectathon. We'll probably have new users stick to 0.12.x for now, but brave users will be able to try out 0.13.0-beta.1. But first we need to finish it. ;-)

A minor problem!
