I understand that the prior auth flow requires a translation to X12 transactions to satisfy HIPAA requirements. I'm trying to determine if the same requirements hold for Predetermination Claims in the Patient Cost Transparency use cases and ultimately for final claim submissions?
Has there been any discussion at the ONC level to add support for pure FHIR based transactions and if so how far off is this from becoming adopted?
