Hello All!

Hello, which test scripts in touchstone do we execute for burden reduction? especially those that the system needs to pass to be able to demo at HIMMS in Aug. Confluence page (https://confluence.hl7.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=91993765) only talks about CRD test cases.

Gunjit -We have several tests for Burden Reduction besides some CRD tests. You can find the Prior Auth tests here (under the HL7 FHIR domain): https://touchstone.aegis.net/touchstone/testdefinitions?selectedTestGrp=/FHIRSandbox/DaVinci/FHIR4-0-1-PAS&activeOnly=true&contentEntry=TEST_SCRIPTS and the DTR scripts (also HL7 FHIR domain) here: https://touchstone.aegis.net/touchstone/testdefinitions?selectedTestGrp=/FHIRSandbox/DaVinci/FHIR4-0-1-DTR&activeOnly=true&contentEntry=TEST_SCRIPTS
Currently, the DTR scripts are just the launch scripts but we'll look to add more over time. There are quite a few 'PAS' scripts though.

The PAS IG formal specification page says - "The Claim/$submit operation is executed by POSTing a FHIR Bundle to the [base url]/Claim/$submit endpoint. The Bundle can be encoded in either JSON or XML. (Servers SHALL support both syntaxes.)". Does it only apply to claim submit oprerations or all interactions?

I don't see another place where XML support has been stated as mandatory, am i missing something?

I think the intention is all PAS interactions, but it would be good to clarify. Can you submit a change request?

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Jul 14 2021 at 04:14):

(You can also argue against mandating both syntaxes if you feel it's unreasonable.)

Thanks Lloyd, i do think it is unreasonable as most of the related IGs don't have XML support as mandatory. will submit a request.
