Correct - we're not looking at R4B. But we will begin looking at R5 - the question is when.

Unless an IG has an urgent need for new features in R5 (in which case they might time their release to coincide with the initial publication of R5), most will wait until R5 is stable before doing the analysis work to avoid building on a moving target.

It is likely there will be some breaking changes between IPS based on FHIR R4 vs. R5. MedicationUsage is likely the most significant of these.

We need to start preparing ourselves for how we want to deal with this. It's been on the radar for quite a while, at least in terms of awareness - but we need to begin thinking about and working more on our strategy.
