If this slice "adjudication:adjudicationamounttype" cardinality be made 1..* instead of current 0..* it will make it easier to read and implement.
The constraint : adjudication-has-amount-type-slice: If Adjudication is present, it must have at least one adjudicationamounttype slice means the same .
Is my understanding of the constraint correct ?.

Hi, I don't think it is this straightforward. The constraint is if we implement the discriminator slices, (denialreason and allowedunits) but if you are implementing the 'subslices' like submitted, copay, etc it doesn't apply.
We are also trying to figure this out ourselves, we're not sure how the slices work - is it that when the claim is denied we use the discriminator slices else we go with the subslices. In c4bb examples, we don't see any discriminator slices.
