We are seeing the below error during validation
None of the codings provided are in the value set http://hl7.org/fhir/us/carin-bb/ValueSet/CDCICD910CMDiagnosisCodes (http://hl7.org/fhir/us/carin-bb/ValueSet/CDCICD910CMDiagnosisCodes), and a coding from this value set is required) (codes = http://hl7.org/fhir/sid/icd-10-cm#H26.9
The ICD10CM codesets was downloaded from the CMS website and we do not see reference to H26.9, but only to H269
https://www.cms.gov/medicare/icd-10/2021-icd-10-cm
Inferno does not throw an error, however, FHIR server validator is throwing this exception.

@Pat Taylor , @Amol Vyas Hi Pat, Amol, can you please point us to the right ICD10 codeset standard that we need to use? CARIN guidance points us to icd10data.com website, whereas that seems to require license and we also saw the codesets available for download in CMS website. However the codeset representation in CMS does not have decimal representation (eg., H269 instead of H26.9) , and the icd10data.com website has the decimal representation (eg., H26.9). Please let us know what is the standard codesets that we can use?

Hello Suma, we are facing the same thing. Are you using the fhir's java validator? We get such errors for a lot of elements and trying to find a validator that works well with CARIN terminology urls.
I came across AEGIS Touchstone on one of the topics here - https://touchstone.aegis.net/touchstone/testdefinitions?selectedTestGrp=%2FFHIRSandbox%2FCARIN%2FCARIN-4-BlueButton%2F02-EOBQuery&activeOnly=false&includeInactive=false&ps=10&allSelected=false&contentEntry=TEST_SCRIPTS

@Suma Addagadde The CARIN IG uses definitions defined by the HL7 Terminology Authority. The TA provides definitions based on information from the code system's owner, who in this case, is he CDC. Many payers, including CMS, do not include the decimal point. HL7 has defined the Code System: https://terminology.hl7.org/2.1.0/CodeSystem-icd10CM.html. Although it is copyrighted, use of the codes does not require a license. @Amol Vyas @shaifali
