@Ryan Howells & @Amol Vyas When looking at the CSVs from the downloadable IG (http://hl7.org/fhir/us/carin-bb/history.html), there are appear to be inconsistencies with slicing. For example, looking at Coverage.class:group.type, there are attributes such as id, extension, and coding in the structure definition (http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/carin-bb/StructureDefinition-CARIN-BB-Coverage.html) yet in the CSVs those attributes are missing. Is this intentional, an issue with the slicing build in the CSVs, or a concept that I am missing. Appreciate the assistance.

Thanks @Jason Teeple for your question. We have recently done some updated work on slicing during the comment reconciliation period which may be the reason for the inconsistencies. + others to the thread in addition to @Amol Vyas who may also want to chime in here @Saul Kravitz @Pat Taylor @josh lamb @Igor Sirkovich

The balloted IG has not been updated.
Slicing is being updated (as per Ryan) as part of ballot reconciliation.
The CI build version of the IG does not (yet) reflect those changes.

Thanks @Ryan Howells - If it helps, the inconsistencies are in the 12-18-19 (12-23-19) version of the IG and downloadable content.

Hi @Jason Teeple ,

Thanks for pointing out the difference between the CPCDS-to-FHIR mapping and the CARINBBCoverage profile. As Ryan and Saul have mentioned we will be updating and synchronizing the IG artifacts to remove the inconsistencies/ambiguities especially regarding the profile elements that are in-scope for the IG and their mapping from CPCDS. As a heads up, we will primarily be using the "Must Support" flag to designate the profile elements in-scope for the IG and including those in the mapping.

Thanks @Amol Vyas - When is the updated IG getting released.

Jason, we are working with our HL7 sponsoring and co-sponsoring WGs to get the IG updates and ultimately, the entire STU1 version of the IG approved and published as soon as possible. We will be announcing the first of the IG updates coming out of the HL7 reconciliation process (through approved Block-Votes) in this stream.
