We want to make you aware of the upcoming virtual connectathon that will take place on April 14-15, 2021. Connectathon attendees will have the opportunity for hands-on testing of the CARIN Consumer Directed Payer Data Exchange (CARIN IG for Blue Button®) Implementation Guide, learn more about the IG, and have the opportunity to ask the IG developers questions. We have received confirmation from many of the major payers in the U.S. that they will be participating. We are looking for additional clients and servers to participate. The event is free for all attendees to attend. We also anticipate testing other consumer-focused IGs from the HL7 patient workgroup. @Debi Willis @Virginia Lorenzi @Dave deBronkart
We will hold an Information Session in early April to help prepare participants for the Connectathon. If you have questions or would like to participate, please contact @Mark Roberts.

Hello Alan,
The Confluence account is free and you should receive approval fairly quickly. You will need an account going forward as HL7 is migrating a lot there, so definitely worth creating one now. Let me know if you don’t receive your login info today and I can nudge the HL7 folks.
