@Chris Moesel and I have been mulling over how to bring CIMPL to the FHIR masses. If you are at the Atlanta Connectathon, we're having a breakout in International 7 from 3-4 today (Sunday). We're going to discuss "a no-more-tears approach to specifying profiles, examples, search parameters, etc and outputting ballot-ready, high-quality FHIR Implementation Guides.
