Is there a track in the upcoming May Connectathon that any of this work would be a part of ?
Brian Alper (Mar 19 2022 at 10:18):
The 2022-05 Eligibility Criteria (Evidence-Based Medicine/EBMonFHIR) Track https://confluence.hl7.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=90360749 will focus on the EvidenceVariable Resource.
Rob Dingwell (Mar 22 2022 at 15:33):
Great, @Brian Alper looking at the track it appears as though the notion will be to have participants take a trial from clinicaltrials.gov and map that into an EvidenceVariable, is that impression correct?
Brian Alper (Mar 22 2022 at 16:08):
@Rob Dingwell That is a way of doing it without having to determine your own set of "eligibility criteria" -- you can pick any trial from clinicaltrials.gov and you will find eligibility criteria as an unstructured text entry, then show how you would provide the same information as structured content with EvidenceVariable. You are also welcome to bring your own data to adapt the exercise to meet your specific needs.
Rob Dingwell (Mar 24 2022 at 13:21):
Thanks. I see there is a mention of an eligibility criteria IG on the confluence page but do not see a link for it there. I see the link that points to the EvidenceVariable resource in the base standard but not one to an IG. Do you have a link for that available?

Is this, the build, what you are looking for? http://build.fhir.org/evidencevariable.html
There still is no IG page - still clarifying how to set it up by the proper rules.
Rob Dingwell (Mar 25 2022 at 15:40):
@Gustav Vella yes, that is the build page I was looking at.
