Topic: UTG package Id

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Apr 08 2020 at 23:10):

The package id for UTG is currently hl7.other.uv.utg

I'm going to change it to hl7.terminology.

here's why:

  • hl7 - HL7 publishes it
  • terminology - that's what it is, and if we have terminology as a product family in it's own right, this will be it's main thing
  • it's nice and simple for any users

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Apr 08 2020 at 23:13):

and because "utg" is an internal process name, not an meaningful name in any other context.

though I could talked into hl7.tx

tx usually stands for transaction or transmission...
hl7.terminology is indeed nice and simple

the id name is driven by the naming standard the publisher demands

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Apr 09 2020 at 01:01):

It used to be simpler...

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Apr 09 2020 at 01:31):

the publisher does demand some things, but in this case, this is simpler

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Apr 09 2020 at 03:00):

Publisher is going to spit out a warning - your assertion is it's appropriate to suppress in this case?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Apr 09 2020 at 03:32):

why will it be a warning?

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Apr 09 2020 at 03:40):

Because that's what it spit out before we changed the id to what it currently is.

Is UTG the only product/package terminology provides?

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Apr 10 2020 at 14:15):

It's the only 'shared' set of terminology artifacts. FHIR will define code systems for certain elements like status and gender which are locked to specific versions of the FHIR spec or IG because they use the 'code' data type. It'll also define lots of value sets where the value set is tightly bound to the model. I presume that v2 and CDA will do the same.

I created the initial Google Doc for the FHIR content error from the UTG build, as requested. Here is the link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/12ri0qFzh6XuF_OBRNgg5oZ5YvMSUuDB8kANhEvrhdGQ/edit?usp=sharing

Ok all the categorized errors from the UTG build of the FHIR content have been loaded into the Google Doc. Four categories - the additional one aat the end is a bad extension. The vast majority of the errors are the id/URL mismatch errors.

@Grahame Grieve Perhaps I was confused, but I though you said the errors from the use of the R5 extension in NamingSystem resources was going to go away? = Extension url "http://hl7.org/fhir/5.0/StructureDefinition/extension-NamingSystem.url" is not valid (invalid Version "5.0")
NamingSystem/v3-PHOccupationCDCCensus2010: NamingSystem.extension[1].url (l8/c91) error URL value "http://hl7.org/fhir/5.0/StructureDefinition/extension-NamingSystem.url" does not resolve

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Apr 15 2020 at 01:44):

it is going to go away. I guess it will be next release of the IG Publisher
