no. It's not dead. But it's surprising that parts of the community are not more interested in graphql

Its far from dead. @Grahame Grieve I guess it is just hard to convince customers that they now need to pay for this extra functionality now that they have 'just' payed to get on FHIR

also ... it is not in all setups where the vendor is both the supplier of the backend AND the frontend
