Topic: retracted status
Patrick Werner (Jan 20 2020 at 17:10):
https://jira.hl7.org/browse/FHIR-21296 was retracted, but status is still triaged. I already tried the propose disposition button, no effect.
Looking at the status workflow: https://jira.hl7.org/browse/FHIR-21296?workflowName=HL7-SPEC%3A+Specification+Feedback+Workflow&stepId=2 retracted seems to be missing there?
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 20 2020 at 17:13):
Did the user who submit it actually retract it using Jira?
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 20 2020 at 17:14):
It looks like she did. I'll investigate
Patrick Werner (Jan 20 2020 at 18:14):
thanks lloyd. And yes, this issue was retracted through JIRA.
Patrick Werner (Mar 31 2020 at 14:30):
any updates on this one? Resolution is set to retracted, but the status is still triaged.
Lloyd McKenzie (Mar 31 2020 at 14:43):
It's on my list. Won't get to it today though.
Isaac Vetter (May 06 2020 at 17:28):
Lloyd, same issue with this ticket: https://jira.hl7.org/browse/FHIR-25762 (Resolution is Retracted, but status is Triaged and I don't think I can close the issue). There's no current, pressing need to manually adjust this ticket. (cc @Dennis Patterson )
Dennis Patterson (May 06 2020 at 17:32):
the workflow drop-down shows me an option to close if that's the next step
Isaac Vetter (May 06 2020 at 21:11):
Yeah, try that, @Dennis Patterson !
Dennis Patterson (May 06 2020 at 21:13):
When I try to close I get my hand slapped:
Action is only possible if the issue is not linked (i.e. not identified as a ballot item or referenced by other issues)
It seems that you have tried to perform an illegal workflow operation.
If you think this message is wrong, please contact your Jira administrators.

(there's no zulip emoji for smack
 )
Lloyd McKenzie (May 06 2020 at 21:24):
I've added it to my list.
Kevin Power (Dec 08 2021 at 16:58):
@Lloyd McKenzie - Any chance this made it to your list? I have a ballot comment that was Retracted, but I am unsure what to do with the jira:
https://jira.hl7.org/browse/FHIR-32691
Any input would be appreciated.
Lloyd McKenzie (Dec 08 2021 at 18:07):
Retraction retracts the vote, it doesn't remove the comment. If it hadn't been triaged, the comment would have closed. Because it's been triaged, you need to disposition, though you can certainly find it not-persuasive if you wish.
Kevin Power (Dec 08 2021 at 18:29):
OK, thanks.
