Topic: Update Jira from Considered for Future Use to Unresolved
Cooper Thompson (Jan 20 2022 at 15:44):
How can you move a Jira from "Considered for Future Use" to "Unresolved"? I can't find any button to do this, or to move a tracker from Considered for Future use to any status that means "we are not considering this, but haven't voted on it yet". And "Considered for Future Use" isn't in the Jira workflow diagram.
David Pyke (Jan 20 2022 at 15:45):
That's usually done after a publication request. It will be moved back to Unresolved
Cooper Thompson (Jan 20 2022 at 15:47):
Who initiates the publication request? We have a bunch of trackers that were deferred in the R4 release, and should probably be on our list to look at for R5. But they are all still marked as CFFU.

Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 20 2022 at 19:50):
@Lynn Laakso normally re-opens those items once publication occurs. If this step has been missed (as it might have occasionally), I'd start by asking her. That said, you should have a re-open transition available to you if you have other Jira management capabiliteis
Lynn Laakso (Jan 20 2022 at 19:52):
@Cooper Thompson what Jira issues?
Cooper Thompson (Jan 20 2022 at 21:18):
FHIR-17671. Note that I tried a few buttons to get it to re-open, so its now marked as Triaged/Persuasive. But getting that back to Triaged/Unresolved is what I want.
Lynn Laakso (Jan 20 2022 at 21:53):
@Lloyd McKenzie can you help with this one? triaged/persuasive reverting to unresolved is not in my wheelhouse...
Lloyd McKenzie (Jan 21 2022 at 02:26):
That's not possible except for an administrator. Once you've put in a draft resolution, you can change the proposed resolution, but you can't remove a resolution entirely.
