I think what's happening is that the submitted spreadsheets have formulas for some of the columns and the script can't deal with that. Testing that hypothesis now.

That doesn't appear to be it, I've verified that I have inlined all formulas in both the target and submitted sheets and still get the same error. I've also verified that the columns that it's complaining about have values, so I'm not sure what to do next.

The posted amalgamation macro is the wrong version. I've sent Lynn the correct one.
