- As a whole, the GPS is not a clinically curated list
- The GPS does not include SNOMED CT relationships, attributes, hierarchies and historical versioning that are fundamental to the nature of the ontology and its ability to enable clinical data analytics, decision support, etc. The complete set of concept synonyms and definitions are not part of the GPS.

Jeder Hersteller kann ja nach wie vor entscheiden, eine Lizenz zur Nutzung von SNOMED zu erwerben. Aber mit dem GPS ist nicht mehr jeder, der Daten in SNOMED nur erfasst oder speichert, zur Lizenzierung verpflichtet.

Wir versuchen gerade in der HL7 HTA die weiteren Schritte für das GPS zu unternehmen: zB URL/OID. Das GPS ist nicht auf die IPS oder gar HL7 beschränkt. Es wäre auch mit zB openIHE anwendbar.
