3. How can a state get <test and certification> ready? What are some high level steps?
   o Review training video on Getting Started with FHIR for NVSS Modernization (Under Recorded Trainings and Presentations)- NVSS Modernization Tool Kit https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/modernization/tool-kit.htm
   o Review training materials (canary, libraries, IG) (NVSS Modernization Tool Kit)
   o FHIR enable your systems (Produce and consume FHIR) ( can use the open source code libraries to assist with this)
   o Send test messages to canary testing framework and correct as needed
   o Apply for access to the NVSS API in dev and test sending test messages to NCHS for return coded cause of death and race/ethnicity (will need a SAMS account for this)
   o Participate in a NCHS organized testing event (June, Oct and Dec 2022)
   o Additional requirements to get FHIR certified by NCHS (These are being developed and will be shared in the near future)

4. Access granting to the NVSS API?
   Ideally it should be the person that's going to be doing the hands on development for the States/Jurisdictions, and then one person may be from the program side, so up to two people from each state. Participants will need to go through Sam's account to get access to the NVSS API.

5. NCHS is requesting 2 states to work with us in 2022 to work towards FHIR certification by Dec 2022. If interested send a note to the NVSS Mail Box

6. Main focus of the March COP meeting will be on interoperability between ME/C case management systems and EDRS . States are requested to invite participants from the ME/C community to the event.
