Hello, in the FHIR Messaging for NVSS documentation, the Coding Response is supposed to contain jurisdiction_id, death_year, and cert_no parameters. However, the files that I received contain only cert_no. This field alone is not sufficient to link the coding response to our records because certificate number is reused for different year.

Those additional fields should be present in acknowledgements and coding responses.

For acknowledgements you can use the MessageHeader.response.identifier to correlate the ack to the submission message but that won't work for Coding messages since that field isn't included.

Agree with Eric, Pete and Marc.. This change was added in the newest version of the FHIR specification document. Unfortunately I miss them. I will update the application accordingly.

Hi @Kellie Broxton, if you use the Connectathon FHIR Death Records (Producing) test for individual records and the Connectathon FHIR Messages (Producing) test for messages, there's a "Generate Downloadable Report" button available.

Kelly certNo 50, 51, 52 will not generate a TRX one more time because these are duplicate records and were generated previously on 9/8/2020.

because you have submitted the same information with the same certNO on 9/8/2020, NVSS treats that record as a duplicate.
