Topic: Close out Schedule
Grahame Grieve (Dec 07 2018 at 21:54):
ok, an update.
Ballot status: All normative ballots have now passed, with the sole exception of a single patient ballot from the May Ballot that cannot be withdrawn since we cannot contact the balloter. We are doing a recirculation ballot on this that closes Dec 25th.
Publication: We still want to publish prior to Dec 31. (It's really hard for me to do the days of work this entails to execute the machinery after Jan 1 - I'm on the road till end of Feb). With that in mind, we are submitting a publication request to TSC on the 17th. This means the all changes are to be done by midnight on 14th, giving me time on the 15th to clean up anything, and then TSC have the weekend to do review.
So committers schedule for R4:
- Committers should be closing out QA input and doing technical QA.
- in particular, committers should check the R3/R4 mappings in the next few days
- We will go to full freeze midnight eastern 13th - any PRs after that require my approval
- I will not approve any PRs from other committers after midnight 14th, at which time I will change the version to 4.0.0
- freeze will come off after Christmas once ballot passes.
Vadim Peretokin (Dec 08 2018 at 09:19):
Let us know of any qa issues in r3/r4! I'll be on the lookout to fix them
Grahame Grieve (Dec 13 2018 at 08:19):
ok, we're very close. We're in full freeze now. Any further PRs must be merged by me. Please let me know when you create one, and explain what is involved
Grahame Grieve (Dec 13 2018 at 08:19):
what is posted now claims to be R4, with version 4.0.0
Grahame Grieve (Dec 13 2018 at 08:20):
.. glad i didn't wait to do that... changing versions is a nightmare now
Vadim Peretokin (Dec 13 2018 at 10:15):
Should the packages in http://build.fhir.org/versions.html#extensions be available now?
Grahame Grieve (Dec 13 2018 at 10:25):
no. I have generated them, but not posted them
Grahame Grieve (Dec 14 2018 at 02:12):
ok final candidate at build.fhir.org, all that is left on my agenda:
- FMM levels on a few FHIR-I resources
- re-generate expansions
Grahame Grieve (Dec 14 2018 at 11:46):
expansions are all regenerated.
Brian Postlethwaite (Dec 14 2018 at 12:32):
So I can do another dotnet code generate too...
Grahame Grieve (Dec 14 2018 at 20:13):
yes
Grahame Grieve (Dec 14 2018 at 21:23):
final call for typos/grammar QA: a few more hours left...
Grahame Grieve (Dec 14 2018 at 22:44):
2 hours...
Grahame Grieve (Dec 14 2018 at 22:45):
(which means 1.5 in practice; PR must be built in 2 hours)
Grahame Grieve (Dec 15 2018 at 01:48):
ok closed
Grahame Grieve (Dec 15 2018 at 03:27):
ok. all merged and published at build.fhir.org, and the publication request and notification of completeness has been sent to TSC.
Grahame Grieve (Dec 15 2018 at 03:31):
... or not. got a bug report 15 seconds before actually notifying TSC...
Grahame Grieve (Dec 15 2018 at 06:00):
now all done
Grahame Grieve (Dec 30 2018 at 20:45):
ok freeze is off.
Brian Postlethwaite (Jan 01 2019 at 01:11):
And the CI updated to 4.1 too...
Grahame Grieve (Jan 01 2019 at 19:56):
I haven't done that yet. Will soon
Grahame Grieve (Jan 01 2019 at 19:56):
it's a very big job for me - have to clone off a new R5 infrastructure
