Topic: Change to CI-Build
Grahame Grieve (Feb 05 2020 at 22:39):
@Josh Mandel has just changed the current build so that a build failure no longer wipes the existing version of the IG from the last successful build.
Josh Mandel (Feb 05 2020 at 22:58):
We'll see what other fun/exciting bugs result from this change ;-) Please @-mention me here if you spot anything weird.
Peter Williams (Feb 06 2020 at 21:52):
Hi @Josh Mandel great improvement on the no-wipe-on-failure update, thank you! Unfortunately our IG had _already_ failed at that point :) Something about gzip and a null pointer. Are you able to look here and give an opinion if this is a publisher issue or something we've done wrong please? http://build.fhir.org/ig/IHTSDO/snomed-ig/failure/build.log @Rob Hausam says his local build is succeeding.
Josh Mandel (Feb 06 2020 at 21:54):
This looks like just a failing build, rather than a problem with the CI infrastructure. I don't have any insight into this.
Rob Hausam (Feb 06 2020 at 21:57):
The local builds are working.
Josh Mandel (Feb 06 2020 at 21:57):
Interesting. On linux too?
Rob Hausam (Feb 06 2020 at 21:58):
On a Mac. Haven't tried it on Linux.
Rob Hausam (Feb 06 2020 at 22:00):
We have some errors to clean up, but the build itself is successful.
Lloyd McKenzie (Feb 06 2020 at 22:01):
Runs ok on Windows too
Grahame Grieve (Feb 06 2020 at 22:05):
it runs ok if the package it is trying to load is in the cache. I'll investigate
Josh Mandel (Feb 06 2020 at 22:06):
It fails for me when I run the docker container locally
Lloyd McKenzie (Feb 06 2020 at 22:07):
Just realized we're having this discussion on announce - please move to committers
