Topic: repo supporting pull-requests
John Moehrke (Dec 04 2019 at 15:48):
What is the proper way to handle having a GIThub repository that allows pull-requests without needing to add that user as a named (or grouped) contributor? (asking for a friend -- @Lloyd McKenzie )
Vadim Peretokin (Dec 09 2019 at 09:17):
All of them allow pull requests by default, nothing special needed.
Vadim Peretokin (Dec 09 2019 at 09:18):
It's only if you want to give people direct push access that you need to add people - but that should be limited to the minimum necessary. It's best that even trusted collaborators send in pull requests instead of pushing code directly without any review!
