How do we relate one Adverse Event to another?

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Sep 30 2018 at 17:56):

What sort of relationships are you interested in?

Association "This rash AE looks awfully like that one the patient had 6 months ago" or maybe composition over time This Rash AE today is related to the dizziness reported yesterday. This may well be an relationship the reporter expresses rather than reflection of absolute truth. Such an entry is part of the CDASH list of items to report.

Those sound like clinical relationships of the Condition.

Would it be the same Condition instance or be treated as a sequelae?

view this post on Zulip Hugh Glover (Oct 01 2018 at 14:39):

@Geoff Low It's a different instance (probably) - wouldn't sequelae also be a different instance of a condition?

@Lloyd McKenzie You mean one of the extensions off condition? That might work.
