At the moment, this is constrained to parameters of type Reference and canonical. However, it's also needed when the type is a resource. One of the common requirements is to specify constraints that a resource passed within the operation needs to abide by. In fact, the SDC IG was doing this back in STU2. Is this something we can fix as part of the ballot?
