1. There are a lot of opinions on this - I can do another poll, but that had the most consensus (many wanted something else, but different somethings else before).

Probably? Been using Zulip polls for a low bar, but not particularly tied to it.
I don't know that I can get it down to that low a number of choices based on the feedback I've received though)

Yeah, Zulip polls don't support ranked choice and don't prevent users from adding options ;-)
