I'd like to add FHIR#28407 to the agenda for our next call.

For our next call I have a few wrap-up issues on the SMART spec:

Can I request an agenda item for 10/18 to discuss whether change to: http://hl7.org/fhir/ValueSet/identifier-type should be done in FHIR core or part of a UTG request? We would like to add some additional values (as noted in https://jira.hl7.org/browse/FHIR-31750) . @Rob Hausam

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Oct 13 2021 at 02:25):

Identifier is actually owned by MnM, so OO approving the request is actually out-of-order. I've re-opened on that basis.

UDI is an identifier "system" - i.e. it is already a unique kind of identifier. Identifier.type is used to establish generic classes of identifiers that could come from multiple systems. We specifically (and intentionally) excluded all of the v2 codes that referred to identifier systems.

@Lloyd McKenzie thanks for responding and reopening -- not sure how to address our requirement , but are you also suggesting that this is not a FHIR-I conversation? Do we need to bring attend MnM to discuss? As the types we are suggesting many not fit the UDI as they are not unique identifiers, but type/kind identifiers. Please advise where the discussion belongs. Thx. Marti

@Marti Velezis Yes, it'll be an MnM discussion.

Hello all, for today's call (October 18), would it be possible to add FHIR-34132 to the agenda? Thanks!

view this post on Zulip Josh Mandel (Oct 18 2021 at 18:24):

@FHIR-I Co-chairs For next week (10/25) we'll plan to bring publication requests for SMART App Launch and for Bulk Data.

view this post on Zulip Brett Marquard (Oct 19 2021 at 18:31):

We collectively noticed the ballot recon spreadsheets are not posted for Bulk or SMART App Launch...Do any of the @FHIR-I Co-chairs mind if we post? (we = @Josh Mandel or me).

view this post on Zulip Brett Marquard (Oct 19 2021 at 18:31):

Both already 'passed', but I know we must post before publication.

No concerns

view this post on Zulip Kenneth Myhra (Nov 01 2021 at 18:52):

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Nov 13 2021 at 21:05):

FHIR#34306 is a candidate R4B change

view this post on Zulip Lloyd McKenzie (Nov 13 2021 at 21:06):

(so would be nice to tackle on Monday)

view this post on Zulip Josh Mandel (Nov 13 2021 at 22:11):

Thanks -- added a note on the issue (want to understand why it's relevant/urgent for R4B).
