Information cards only allow free-text information for the summary and detail attributes. Yet, the FHIR Clinical Reasoning module uses the DetectedIssue resource to represent issues detected by a CDS. Therefore, it would make sense for Cards to also support references to DetectedIssue resources. From Howard Strasberg: "I agree that CDS hooks services should be able to respond with DetectedIssue resources. I think it should be possible to send the DetectedIssue resource inline, not just as a reference. There is also the question of how to fit a DetectedIssue resource into the CDS hooks response structure. I would suggest (pun partially intended) allowing it to be included as a suggestion, even though it’s not an order. Currently, suggestions must have an action type of create, update, or delete. For this use case, we might want to define a new action type, such as “inference”, “cds-result”, or something similar along those lines."

Disposition: Persuasive with Mod
Disposition Comment:
The desired functionality is persuasive and this is something we will consider for future use, including exploring other FHIR resources (in addition to the proposed DetectedIssue), other card types, other interaction methods, etc.:+1: For: 25
