Welcome to #CCDA / FHIR mapping stream.

Description: CCDA / FHIR Mapping project admin

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 04:47):

@all I have created this stream for administration relating to the CCDA / FHIR mapping.

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (May 03 2018 at 04:48):

understood. thanks for this

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 04:48):

we'll have to discuss what goes here and what goes public. but for now, I've done 2 thigns:

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 04:48):

the CDA logical model is committed to https://github.com/HL7/fhir-cda

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 04:48):

that's an IG but it's not set up to publish yet. I'll be working on that.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 04:49):

there's some initial maps, enough for a round-trip of the test sling, in the CCDA-on-FHIR implementation guide

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 04:52):

well, these things will be there as long as the useless hotel network stays yup long enough for me to commit

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (May 03 2018 at 04:54):

the schema that came with the logical model wouldn't validate. i'm not sure if it was meant to?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:04):

it won't validate an unmodified CDA document because of limitations of schema and/or the mismatch between the type system of a logical model, schema, and the V3 type model.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:04):

the reasons it won't validate do not mean that the logical model itself is wrong, and they won't be a problem, with the possible exception of doseQuantity - I haven't figured out the in-place downgrade of IVL<PQ> to PQ yet

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (May 03 2018 at 05:05):

the latter - the declared namespaces are inconsistent. i agree that the schema isn't necessary for the logical model.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:05):

what's wring with the namespaces?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:06):

have you looked at the before/after validating cda document?

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (May 03 2018 at 05:08):

you declare targetNamespace="urn:hl7-org:v3" in the ClinicalDocument.xsd but you import the fhir schema that has a declared targetNamespace="http://hl7.org/fhir" Those are inconsistent and give you an invalid schema.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:08):

then you're not looking at the right version

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:08):

where are you looking?

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (May 03 2018 at 05:09):

i'm looking at what Wayne sent me.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:09):

then look at what just committed to github above

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (May 03 2018 at 05:12):

okay. thanks for the update

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:12):

and if that's still a problem, all I can say is:
- it reads ok from the schmea spec
- xmlspy says it's ok
- lloyd says its ok. (and I'm about to go offline for a while - touring in Rome - so follow ups to @Lloyd McKenzie )

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (May 03 2018 at 05:13):

no, that is fine now.

view this post on Zulip Jean Duteau (May 03 2018 at 05:13):

thanks and have fun

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (May 03 2018 at 05:13):
