I'm going to set it up so that the mapping from CDA narrative to XHTML occurs in the infrastructure, not through a map file. e.g. I assert that there's a one and only one mapping for that, and that it can be automated in code by me (err, with review, obviously)
Grahame Grieve (May 04 2018 at 03:47):
comments?
Lloyd McKenzie (May 04 2018 at 03:55):
Would that not prevent execution of the transformation by anything other than the HL7 tool unless someone else duplicates your work?
Grahame Grieve (May 04 2018 at 03:59):
yes. it would still need to be documented so that anyone else could reproduce that transform
Lloyd McKenzie (May 04 2018 at 04:01):
The issue is that it's too much work to write the map? Or the language can't express it?
Grahame Grieve (May 04 2018 at 04:01):
I have to go do logical models for the StrucDoc.Text schema, and I'd rather not spend hours doing that if there's no benefit
Jean Duteau (May 04 2018 at 20:26):
I'm fine with this obviously and I think it makes sense. There doesn't seem to be any reason to allow for multiple mappings of that. Will you also have the inverse done in infrastructure (XHTML subset to CDA narrative)?
Grahame Grieve (May 05 2018 at 03:21):
yes. have to

@all - can you review http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=CDA_Narrative_to_html_mapping . It turns out that I've never directly converted narrative to html before - and there nearest I approached the problem, round-tripping wasn't a factor. So there's some loose ends for me, but I've run out of time for now. Policy question : do we support./follow html5? can you contribute to this page plase
