Topic: FHIRcast STU1 ballot -- crossing the finish line
Isaac Vetter (Jul 16 2019 at 14:47):
We're almost done with the FHIRcast ballot resolution! We have just 16 issues remaining. All issues have a proposed resolution.
Isaac Vetter (Jul 16 2019 at 14:48):
Five of these issues are likely substantive and we'll be discussing on our upcoming II calls:
- #143 - Remove query for current context. Also resolves 116 and 142.
- #108 - Create computable event syntax, e.g.: replace
open-patient-chart
with<fhir-resource>``-``open|close
. Also resolves: 128, 107, 109 - #127 - Expand OAuth2 scope to include event and read|write.
- #126 - How to discover supported events?
- #89 - rename
cast-hub
tohub.url
Isaac Vetter (Jul 16 2019 at 14:48):
## Block vote
To ensure that we have time to address the above, I'm proposing a block vote to include:
- #133 - Not Persuasive - @Ricardo Quintano
- #105 - Duplicate of 127 - @Isaac Vetter
- #114 - Persuasive - @Bas van den Heuvel
- #113 - Persuasive with Mod - @Bas van den Heuvel
- #112 - Persuasive - @Bas van den Heuvel
- #99 - Question Answered - @Isaac Vetter
Isaac Vetter (Jul 23 2019 at 14:39):
Tomorrow at 9a Central is our (hopefully) final FHIRcast STU1 ballot resolution call! We'll be voting on the block vote described above and discussing and voting on the proposed resolutions in these 3-5 issues:
- #143 - Remove query for current context. Also resolves 116 and 142.
- #126 - How to discover supported events?
- #89 - rename cast-hub to hub.url
Once we have an approved resolution for all our issues, we'll begin working in earnest on updating the spec to implement these changes with a goal of publishing STU1 on https://fhircast.hl7.org by the end of the summer.
Once STU1 is published, we need to focus on two improvements:
1) Websocket support
2) enabling discrete measurement exchange
Isaac Vetter (Sep 13 2019 at 02:40):
I'm ecstatic to announce that (I'm pretty sure that) all STU1 ballot comments have been merged into the FHIRcast specification at https://fhircast.org! Shoutout to @Will Maethner , @Niklas Svenzen and @Leo Bergnéhr for their hard work.
Isaac Vetter (Sep 13 2019 at 02:40):
Next steps:
Isaac Vetter (Sep 13 2019 at 02:41):
1) Negative ballot votes withdrawn by commenters
Isaac Vetter (Sep 13 2019 at 02:41):
2) Publish https://fhircast.org to the official https://fhircast.hl7.org
Isaac Vetter (Sep 13 2019 at 02:41):
3) STU2 -- figure out websockets and update the spec, quickly.
Isaac Vetter (Sep 13 2019 at 02:41):
In addition to websockets, are there critical features we should attempt to prioritize for STU2?
