Sorry, wasn't sure what stream to put this in. I was looking at
https://www.hl7.org/fhir/us/core/StructureDefinition-us-core-patient.html and saw this "S" flag. However, http://hl7.org/fhir/R4/formats.html#table doesn't tell me what it means. Anyone able to help explain it?

Nevermind. Hover text answered it for me :)

I have questions regards to DocumentReferance resources. I'm trying to add sicknote aside from other documents. What is the best way to do so?
Hopefully I'm on the right channel, otherwise, if you can redirect me I will be thankful

Your question is how to distinguish "sick notes" from other document types? Wouldn't that just be a DocumentReference.type?

Thanks a lot @Lloyd McKenzie , that's what I thought, thanks for the confirmation. I'm trying to find the DocumentType valueSet here, but can't find it. http://hl7.org/fhir/valueset-c80-doc-typecodes.html
Is there any other word for sickNote?

I tried to look for something like "sick note" on loinc and didn't find anything. Loinc or snomed would be the most likely places to look.

I don't know what a "sick note" is. so I didn't have much to go to find an alternative.

I presume it's a note from a clinician excusing someone from work/school. It's certainly common enough there ought to be a standard code for it - though perhaps not commonly exchanged electronically?

Upon a brief search I am not finding a good LOINC candidate, but was wondering if SNOMED might be something that could be considered.

I am not sure if I can repost the code and description here, but this seems like a possible candidate depending on your needs. A Medical Certificate or Doctor's Note. https://browser.ihtsdotools.org/?perspective=full&conceptId1=772786005&edition=MAIN/2021-07-31&release=&languages=en

Thanks a lot. We agreed to use Letter at the end. https://loinc.org/51852-2/
