Topic: What do empowered & engaged really mean?

@Mike Muzoora great to meet you in the current WGM Patient Empowerment session! I suggested that we discuss what we mean by empowerment, and we might as well do it in public for max exposure and max contributions.
For starters, here's a 9 minute "slidecast" that I extracted from some of the speeches I've given. (What do empowered and engaged really mean?)[http://dave.pt/empoweredengaged]
Due to cultural differences among countries, I'm very curious how the German culture thinks about patients as empowered partners. But first, let's consider what we mean by the words.

@Dave deBronkart Hey Dave, surely. That sounds like a good idea.
When would it be a good time for this session?
Dave deBronkart (Jan 20 2022 at 19:45):
Oh, I was thinking about discussing it here on Zulip! But if you're thinking about a private Zoom call, PM me
