@Virginia Lorenzi @Debi Willis @Lloyd McKenzie @Nancy Lush @Jan Oldenburg @Maria D Moen @Lisa Nelson @John Moehrke @Mikael Rinnetmäki @Abigail Watson @Rachel Richesson @Terrie Reed @Grahame Grieve

In my quick introduction to today's two Patient Innovator pitches I want to invite people to join our WG. I'll create a slide that in just the few available seconds will let people know we exist and what we're doing. Here's my draft. Suggestions?

If we luckily find a dozen interested new members, how do we cope with that? Do we have them connect with the right project leads?

Dave, If you can put up the link to the teams, great, but I don't think it's strictly necessary. We can sort out how they want to participate on a #patientempowerment team meeting.

Can’t post a link in a slide but motivated people will have no trouble finding us :slight_smile:

Do a happy-dance? :)

They would engage the same as anyone else - hang out here, show up on calls as they can. (If need be, we can add project-specific calls too.)
Maybe add a link to this zulip stream to your slide?

(Or a URL-shortened version thereof)

If you want to incite more interest, you could list the sub-groups that we've created and those project leads - the wonderful thing about this workgroup is that it tends to be highly personal to everyone. We all know someone who has suffered from a lack of patient empowerment, so it is probable that you'll see some interest with or without the extra detail. Go get 'em Dave!

@Lloyd McKenzie anyone who needs to be told how to find the Patient Empowerment stream on Zulip is probably not involved in DevDays. It's not like we hid it in an acronym like CBCP :-)

@Maria D Moen did you see my screen capture pasted in above? I did exactly as you suggest :-)

It was wonderful! And I am happy to do an HL7 and PEW current state orientation.
