In the recent HL7 co-chairs webinar they (@Wayne Kubick?) said we should deprecate the old Documents folders on our home pages and move things into the "File Storage - S3 Connector." The co-chairs of this WG need help understanding exactly what's needed, by when, and how to do it (move, or download / upload, or other), etc.

Everyone can always ask @Joshua Procious  but we'd love to have an additional resource beyond him ... or maybe, Josh, you're happy to always be the one!

Appreciate your diligence, Dave, but As a new workgroup, i doubt you have old documents on hl7.org to worry about. @Melva Peters - can you advise Dave for Patient WG on using s3 for future docs.

FWIW here's what we have under the Documents widget:

On the right side we have many uploads: image.png

@Joshua Procious how do we delete those uploaded files? We don't see a Delete or trashcan button.

Hello Dave,
If you select the little drop down arrow (left of each file) you should see an option to delete. If you don't, please let me know as it will be a permission issue.

I added the party-horn emoji because your response means I tried the right thing! And indeed I don't see that. Here's what there is:

(Co-chairs are @Debi Willis and @Virginia Lorenzi and me)

(In any case beyond these documents, the larger request in the subject line still stands: our WG truly would like to have a savvy Confluence "technician" who knows the ins & outs. Or, we're happy to keep pinging Josh ... but it's the nature of the Patient Empowerment group to seek autonomy!)

@Dave deBronkart as a new WG, all of your documents are on Confluence, so you're ahead of the game - most Work Groups have documents on HL7.org website under the Document Repository. There are some how to webinars and articles on Confluence that might help you: https://confluence.hl7.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=11501600. If you run into specific questions, feel free to reach out Josh or I - it will help us to be able to put some more FAQs together for Confluence. Here's some information on how to use the S3 File Storage. https://confluence.hl7.org/display/HDH/How+to+use+S3+file+storage
