As I mentioned yesterday, I took our excellent discussion's comments and put them in a google doc where we can massage them over the weekend for submission Monday to HL7.

(For anyone who wasn't on this week's WG meeting, I hope the brief explanation at top is clear enough. In short, ANSI is asking HL7 to comment on the subject (by next Friday), so yesterday our WG collected some initial thoughts. We'll submit them to HL7 Monday, to be woven into the larger HL7 response. )
I took a stab at grouping the remarks into some categories but I'm not at all wedded to it - all comments welcome. Also, if anyone wants to co-manage or totally manage this, I'll love it; this was supposed to be a weekend off for me, but time is short.
The document is set to "anyone with the link can comment." I'm happy to give edit privileges to anyone on request.
