In a use case about multiple sclerosis, we have to store the handedness of a patient. We intend to store this information as an Observation with SNOMED code 57427004 - Handedness (observable entity) and valueCodeableConcept 87683000 - Left handed (finding) or 46669005 - Right handed (finding). Any other suggestion? No need to use a BodyStructure right?

I think an Observation as you've described seems sensible in this case.

I note that "Handedness" in SNOMED CT seems to be defined (partially, as a primitive concept) a bit oddly as a child of 363796002 | Characteristic of the hand (observable entity) |. The basis of handedness is neurologic, not from anything intrinsic to the hand itself. But I believe it still would be the correct observable concept to use.
