CIMI has been working on handling nesting section in DiagnosticReport - here is the draft IG using a breast imaging radioogy report as example: http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/fhir-breast-radiology-ig/spec.html
Looking to fit into FHIR and also be what industry expects
CIMI will be using SVG library to produce graph representation of the layout for the radiology IG
Clicking on the box you get to the page that describes that FHIR resource
Patient History is currently observation – this may change
Findings – these are all observations linked via the “hasMember” attribute based on Grahame’s suggestion at the last WGM
Structure is copied from ACR manual
We still are hoping to have nesting sections in a diagnosticReport
Merging composition and DiagnosticReport
In the first ballot used diagnosticReport referencing composition, that had the content
Currently people are using different approaches:
DiagnosticReport
Composition
DocumentReference
Maybe profile composition to become DiagnosticReport?
There is a spreadsheet that has a comparison between these two – could that be shared?
These are slices off observation
How to document impression section
This should point to the array of conditions
clicinalImpression resource
Still hoping for Feb2020, but more realistically would be May2020
This is a cross-cutting concern for PC and II, CIMI and OO
maybe repeat that meeting in mid-January
