Currently, the name definition (id type) does not accept '_'. Should we extend the definition to include _? It is pretty common to use in variable names. http://hl7.org/fhir/datatypes.html#id

string with a regex limiting to alpha, numeric and _ (similar to what we have for 'name') seems reasonable. Care to make a change request @Ajay Kanduru ?
