Topic: application/x-fhir-query in calculatedExpression?
Paul Lynch (Dec 10 2018 at 20:43):
Does it make any sense to support Expressions of type application/x-fhir-query in questionnaire-calculatedExpression? The comment for that extension says, "Calculated value is updated as other answers in the QuestionnaireResponse are filled in"-- which I would think would only need to be done if the Expression were of type FHIRPath (or I suppose CQL). If one wanted to run a FHIR query, I would think that would be via the questionnaire-initialExpression extension.
Lloyd McKenzie (Dec 10 2018 at 22:28):
It could if the item was of type Reference - in that case the query could resolve to the resource(s) that would be the initial answers.
Paul Lynch (Dec 10 2018 at 23:13):
How would that differ from initialExpression?
Lloyd McKenzie (Dec 10 2018 at 23:46):
Where are you seeing calculatedExpression? I don't think it exists...

Perhaps moving it made it harder to find?
