Regarding the Structured Data Capture - Data Exchange and the resource DataElement which existed in STU3, but removed in R4.
Is there something in R4 that has replaced the IG and the resource, or was there some other reason for removing it?
We are currently looking at how to exchange data from registries, that's why this came up.

SDC-DE has had no uptake thus far, so there are no current plans to update it. At present, it's considered an expired STU. FHIR-I currently plans to retire the IG. However, if someone wants to run a project, revamping the IG and publishing a new version is certainly possible.
